Show Yourself Friendly explores the natural need for companionship and encouragement and examines God’s true plan for friendship.  The book & retreat explore Biblical examples of genuine, heartfelt friendships as well as Biblical examples of misconstrued friendships and how to avoid falling victim to them. The following workshops will help us explore these issues:

Don't Be Ashamed of Me
The good thing about a fairweather friend-they won't do you any intentional harm. The bad thing about a fairweather friend-they won't do you any intentional good either. Have you ever turned to a friend for help and been surprised at their reaction? Have you ever expected help from one source and gotten it from another? If so, this is the workshop for you.   

I'll Tell You What To Do 
Have you ever had a friend who was a crafty cohort? A friend who coaxed you into al sorts of trying situations? This workshop dives into the Bible and uncovers an example of this type os friendship and how to triumph over it. Take this session with the Five Hallmarks of A Godly Friend workshop for a deeper understanding of God's original design for friendship.

In this workshop you will learn to look for a friend who will love you and love God; one who will model Biblical principles in your relationship.

This worksho will walk you through an awesome Biblical friendsihp and show you how to have, and how to be, this type of friend.

 

Five Hallmarks of A Godly Friendship

This workshop will guide you through the hallmarks of a godly friendship. Do you want to learn what to look for in a friend and how to best extend your friendship? If so, this is the workshop for you. You will learn how to apply these hallmarks to the friendship you give and how to look for them in the friendships you recieve.

 

Fearfully & Wonderfully Made (15-20 year olds)

Many young ladies have questions about who they are and what their purpose is for being here. The world we live in gives mixed messages about those choices.  It is our desire to help young ladies learn through the Word of God how to fulfill that purpose, for they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
